CNC Operator / Programmer

Requirements are to produce machined parts by programming, setting up, and operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine; maintaining quality and safety standards; keeps records; maintaining equipment and supplies. Duties will include plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, material, specifications, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Verifying settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work-pieces; adhering to international standards. Skills must include verbal communication, process improvement, functional and technical skills, controls and instrumentation, supply management, tooling, coordination, inventory control, attention to detail, and good judgment.

CNC Machinist

Set-up and operate CNC Machining or Vertical & Horizontal machines and other equipment as necessary. Job responsibilities: 1) Set-up and operate CNC machines, and occasionally conventional machines, in a safe and efficient manner to produce prototype and production parts to specifications. 2) Works with a wide variety of materials, tooling, and machine operations. 3) Inspects first-run and in-progress parts using precision measuring equipment. 4) Promptly and accurately completes all required recordkeeping 5) Keeps the machine and surrounding work area clean, safe and well organized. Qualifications: Two or more years of production CNC machining experience is required. Some programming experience is a plus Ability to read blueprints and work with measuring devices is required. Must be able to use all standard inspection tools (i.e., calipers, micrometers, heights gages, and comparator). CMM experience is desirable. Must have good communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work successfully in a team based environment that heavily emphasizes quality, performance, customer service and high accountability.

QA Inspector

Ability to read blueprints. Includes: coordinate and GD&T as well as drawing notes. Ability to read, understand and explain customer and proprietary specifications when needed. Knowledge of AWS weld symbols. Able to convert metric (mm) dimensions and callouts to standard (inch). Able to convert standard (inch) dimensions and callouts to metric (mm). Proficient in the use the following: -Faro Laser Tracker (Cam2X Measure Software) -Faro Arm (Cam 2Q Software) -dial bore gauge -ID micrometer -OD micrometer -thread plug gauges -protractor -weld gauges -paint thickness (DFT), caliper. Some knowledge of ISO 9001:2008 Standard, AIAG APQP & PPAP processes, MS Office Applications (Word, Excel).
